Location is perfect for marine drive / ocean lovers. Super easy to just step out and take a good walk on the marine drive. Traffic to and fro the hotel is also not bad. Facilities are standard and good.
Built in 1973, the iconic The Taj Mahal Tower Mumbai stands majestically across from the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea.

WE had issues at breakfast , two points ; The girl at the front who takes names and room numbers is at breakfast we found extremely unfriendly, did not smile and we found her almost rude, she is not representative of the brand name Taj Hotel.
Second point we found the breakfast service this morning extremely poor, a fresh orange juice should not tale 10/15 minutes to arrive, by which time the food was cold. The manager repeatedly apologies and I had to remind him he had repeated himself at least three times.
On a positive note I found the female member staff in the business centre ( Sanitha) extremely helpful and very professional. Someone who is a credit to the name Taj Hotel and the sort of staff member who we would love to employ.
I am sorry if my points above are offending but a feedback has to be honest and based on ones experience .

Mumbai is a big city. I attended a film festival in the area, and it was a nice walk to the cinema. Plenty to do and see, food (Parsi, Goan, street snacks) to explore. I took a midnight bicycle ride, started at 11 pm ended 3 am. Great view of south Mumbai.

After arriving at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus we had a bad experience. A grey-bearded man wearing a turban - I assumed he was someone’s grandfather meeting a family member off the train - advised us not to go with the porter who had offered to help us with our cases. The man in the turban said he’d help us get to our hotel and called over 2 younger men who escorted us to a waiting taxi. When my husband asked what the fare to the hotel would be one of the men said all taxis in Mumbai are metered. When we reached the hotel the taxi driver drove into a side street and demanded Rs5,000. We asked to see the meter which showed Rs3000. We knew from our research that the fare ought to be around Rs600 for the distance we’d travelled.
We argued and the tone which up to then had been friendly turned menacing. We were told to pay what the meter said. Reluctantly my husband counted out out 6 x Rs500 notes and handed them to the driver. Next thing the driver told my husband he’d paid the wrong banknotes and showed us 4 x Rs20 notes in his hand. Now my husband had only had 10 x Rs500 in his wallet, so we knew the driver was lying. Anyway, to cut this long story short, we grabbed our bags and just moved off quickly to the hotel entrance.
I have taken the trouble to write of our experience because I believe other travellers arriving at LTT need be warned to avoid these shady characters.

no disturbances easy location to get a taxi or near by grand road local train stop .sorrounding one hotel restaurant named pejaus was really good having north south chinese punjabi foods that too u can order for free room service
It was our second stay in Mumbai first time we stayed in the fort but linkway hotel was cheaper and also room in better condition, even though everything in Mumbai is more expensive than rest of India.
Staff was very nice. Room was small but clean and even had day light. Shower worked very well.
Location was very good. Very close to great restaurants, bars, shops... All just in front. Also very close to airport and Dharavi slum in case you plan a tour.
We would choose again this hotel.
The hotel doesn't have good photos of the reception and the entrance in the hotel and the name of the hotel looks luxurious but actually, it is most like a hostel. The advertisement they make is intense in order to make the booking, but conditions are poor. Even so the location of the hostel is close to the center in Mumbai, the neighborhood is not safe. If you are looking for a cheap location with the low condition and central location is ok, but I don't recommend it at all.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Excellent bathrooms. There is a safe and a small fridge.
The rooftops restaurant is a definite plus.
The sea facing rooms have a wonderful view, but this does come at an extra cost. Be aware that being at the front means street noise.
We used the hotel's airport pick up service. The driver was waiting with a large comfortable vehicle.
Taj Lands end (Bandra) is a truly luxurious experience in a wonderful part of Mumbai and located just right for travel around Mumbai. Everything (professional, courteous, organised, service driven) one would expect from a Taj (TATA) group 5 star hotel.
The band stand walk along the sea is perfect to find tranquil seclusion and watch the sun go down. Bliss experienced.
It's a brilliant property with excellent Management and very friendly and personalised service and the location is Excellent and the rooms very well appointed and every stay has been exceptionally good for me. I don't feel like staying anywhere else each time I visit Mumbai although I am eligible for 5 star stay but I still prefer my favourite hotel.
Hotel is a bit hidden between large dormitory and office buildings. But therefore no traffic noise. Hotel is super equipped and very clean and well maintained. Neighnourhood is not the best, but very easy to explore the northern parts of Mumbai by Metro and reasonable easy to explore central and southern Mumbai (by Metro/Train).
Mumbai's finest and most famous venue deserves a 5 star and more for their service & commitment, Had a great time staying there and was bowled over by the courteous & prompt service, hey follow all the covid norms, they make your special day most memorable with their efforts,I have no words to explain anymore about this hotel..
The room, toilet and corridor are clean. The staffs were very helpful. Despite the noise outside, the moment you enter the hotel, there is quietness .
Samim is always ready to listen and answer questions asked as best as possible.
He gave valuable and safe suggestions on how to navigate the area..
It was a nice experience
Dormitory is located near Airport and Metro Station. Centrally located between Andheri and Ghatkopar stations, good conectivity on both sides. Service given by staff is very good, dormitory is quiet and peaceful. Washrooms are also maintained clean and neat. Medical shops, restsurants and market are also nearby.
It’s the staff, particular mention of the duty manager MR Akshay Patil who made me feel at home and gave me an upgrade. I was used to another 5 star hotel but now will recommend my executive colleagues to choose this over others. Regards Ramachandran Abu Dhabi
Conveniently at the airport but had to book two nights since I arrived more than 24 hrs before my flight out of terminal 2. Ordered in food and it was great. Beds were comfortable. Took a tour with hotel pickup at dawn. Best money ever spent!
The food was ultimate. The best in all the 5 stars i have dined in. the staff is very cooperative and friendly. Very prompt responses, best cleaning all the time, beautiful interior and exteriors as well.overall amazing experience for sure
best location in Mumbai!
the staff make sure you have amazing experience in India, truly 5 star luxury hotel in all means.
rooms are spacious with great ocean view, the restaurants and bars are great.
Staff, facilities and location. I stayed in 5 stars hotels in Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Kochi during my trip in India and can affirm that Trident is definitely the best in terms of quality services
It’s not a 3 star standard hotel.
I suspected the quality of the hotel when offered get away deal. So it is not good for a people expecting decent stay
